Many times as new photographer’s you spend lots and lots of time combing the internet for resources that you can learn and grow from. Hopefully you will find my blog a very helpful resource in the journey of becoming a Professional Photographer. Below you will find resources that I have found to be very valuable.
Inspirations
Perfecting your eye in photography comes from looking at quality work, studying that work and seeing why it “works”. Over time you will come to your own “style” which will turn into your “brand” of photography. Here are some of the photographer’s that I look up and admire.
Jasmine Star – She has created a very personal and exciting website and she makes you want to be her friend from the second you see her website. {Go Jasmine Star!!}
McIntosh Portraits – A very large portion of my style came from looking at these portraits over and over and over again!
Yervant – I found a refreshingly new perspective by viewing the work of Yervant from Australia. Very amazing photographer!
Equipment
Nikon - The debate will rage forever over Nikon and Canon but I’m not going there. Just put your hands on both and see what you like better.
Pocket Wizard – Amazing lighting made easy.
Learning
Adobe TV – I learn so much quicker by watching someone else than by doing in wrong over and over until I figure it out :-)
Strobist – Creative lighting.
This list will be added to over time so please subscribe via email or RSS. You can also follow us on Facebook.
